Open Elective on the Application of the Python Programming Language

In September, the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) launched an open elective on the use of the Python programming language. The course is designed for humanities students and anyone interested in learning how to use Python in their work.

The Introduction to Generative Art and Digital Humanities with Python elective provides an opportunity to explore the Python programming language through generative art: drawing, creating music and graphics. Open elective on the application of the Python programming language.

The initiators and organizers of the course were 4th year SAS students of the IT profile Mikhail Pecherkin and Danila Zolotarev. The IT profile is implemented in SAS together with the Institute of Advanced Technologies “School X” (DSTU), where students study in close cooperation with many IT companies.

The language of the course is English. Classes are held in an online format on Fridays in the evening.
