Juvenile Delinquency and Child Abuse
This course examines the nature and extent of juvenile delinquency and child abuse in modern societies. It explores how juvenile delinquency differs from adult criminal behavior in its legal status, causes, and the ways society reacts to it. It also examines the juvenile justice system and its various components. Lastly, child abuse and neglect is examined within historic and current settings to include examinations of not only victims but offenders.
