Communication and Leadership
On the one hand, communication accompanies us throughout our lives, influencing almost each event and each step we take. On the other hand, not many people possess the ability to listen genuinely, speak clearly and convincingly, and resolve conflicts. Less of them continuously refine these skills to engage in enriching relationships in both personal and professional contexts.
The quality of communication largely determines the successes and failures of both individuals and teams or organizations. Furthermore, communication serves as the foundation for leadership, which is a key component for building a horizontal or vertical career, transforming reality, and realizing greater ambitions. Leadership is one of the complex phenomena that can be described and explained through various models, theories, and approaches.
The elective is dedicated to working on the quality of communication, conflict resolution, and leadership positioning: focusing not primarily on theoretical understanding but on direct work with one’s own skills based on existing theories and models.
