Linear Algebra and Differential Equations

In this course, students will become familiar with the fundamental concepts and methods of linear algebra, which are widely used in economics and other fields. Upon completion of the course, students will have a deep understanding of the main concepts and methods of linear algebra, including working with matrices, determinants, and systems of linear equations. This will enable them to successfully apply linear algebra to economic problems, such as analyzing systems of linear equations, finding the inverse of a matrix, and determining the rank of a matrix.

The second part of the course serves as an introduction to the theory and methods for solving differential equations, which are fundamental in mathematical modeling of various physical, biological, and engineering processes. Throughout the course, students will study both analytical and numerical methods for solving differential equations, as well as their applications in real-world problems.
