Sustainable Agenda in Economics and Finance

The concept of sustainable development has a short period of existence, but its ideas have firmly entered into all spheres of public relations. A sustainable agenda in economics and finance course involves the students in the formation of a new paradigm, on the basis of which the economic activities of individual economic agents, industries, and the economic space of individual countries are carried out, regions, and the world as a whole. Among the most pressing problems of the modern economy is attracting resources to finance the transition to sustainable development.

Studying such a topic will help students identify the problems of transition to sustainable development in the economy and financial sector, formulate practices of responsible behavior, and also consider a number of other important components of the sustainable agenda. As part of the course, students will form a complex of knowledge about production as the basis of the modern economy, the financial system, responsible financing, discuss modern scientific research, and consider the basics of analyzing statistical information on the implementation of sustainable development goals in economics and finance.
