Corporate Finance

This course provides an introduction to the theory and applied methods of corporate finance. The main topics include: 1) uncertainty, the trade-off between risk and return, and financial market efficiency, 2) the time value of money, bond valuation, duration, and the use of bond portfolios in engage in income smoothing over time, 3) equity valuation and the Capital Asset Pricing Model, and 4) optimal capital structure, and dividend policy decisions.
