Media Production. Live-Action Film.
The elective course is based on the practical creation of a short documentary or fiction film. Techniques from documentary filmmaking, journalism, and feature films will be applied.
At present, the short film genre is experiencing a renaissance, thanks to the increasing popularity of streaming platforms and various film festivals. There is a quest for a new narrative style, unique ideas, and approaches to filming and editing.
This course is based on a method of extended observation, which allows students to analyze their projects in practice and create a more refined version of their work. Other methods such as provocation, reenactment, and interviews with actors will also be explored.
The curriculum follows the main stages of media and film production, including development, production, and post-production. Long-term training is not included in the course to provide students with more practical and relevant information on media project creation.
