Victimology

Victimology is the scientific study of victims and is designed for students interested in social and political aspects of society.

This course provides an analysis of victims as well as a review of theories that attempt to explain victimization and repeat victimization. In addition, this course provides students on not only information on victims, but also common efforts reduce victimization, responses to victims by society, and responses to victimization by the various components of the criminal justice system.
