Educational Research
This course is based on a constructivist approach of free choice and intrinsic motivation as essential for educational growth. Students are mainly responsible for their learning and educational success since the course is completely student-centered. The professor is only a facilitator of students' learning and is responsible for organising the process.
Students who chose this course have to be:
- Interested in: a) educational topics and issues and b) empirical field research
- Responsible and mature for their educational progress
- Ready to intensively read (minimally three scholar papers per week)
- Organised and time-bounded
The course is oriented towards students' independent work, reading, writing, analysis, interpretation, and developing and implementing an empirical research project in pedagogy and educational sciences.
