Politics of Cybersecurity
This course aims to equip students with basics of the politics of cyber-security, covering both technical and political aspects. It will discuss the significance of cyber-security in relation to global economic activity and national security, as well as current debates surrounding ethical, technical, and political issues related to cyber-security.
The focus of the course will be on examining various applications of cyber-security knowledge for students in social sciences.
To understand the technical aspects of cyber-security, professors from IT field will be heavily involved in co-delivering this course. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand the technical basics of cyber-security, key political debates surrounding it, and apply their knowledge to real-world events and professional settings.
