World Through History
As humans, we constitute a global population of around 8 billion individuals, each unique in their own way. The incredible diversity we observe — whether in physical appearances, belief systems, constructed identities, or the complex interplay of economic and social conditions — is undeniable. It forms a tapestry of experiences too intricate to argue otherwise.
This diversity prompts a myriad of questions: What were our origins? How has our journey unfolded over time? What paths have we chosen, and where have we found ourselves lost? How have we undergone change, and in turn, impacted our surroundings? What achievements and mistakes define our narrative? What tragedies have shaped our collective experience, and where do we stand today?
The “World Through Time” course is inspired by these very questions. This course offers a bird's-eye view across approximately 5 billion years, it aims to explore the vast scope of human history, encouraging a holistic understanding of our shared journey.
