DevOps Module

Launching multi-component IT project solutions is a task so complex that it requires the participation of a separate specialist — a DevOps Engineer. The activity of this specialist extends to many areas, from coordination of the work of individual services and development teams to issues of setting up a virtual environment. The versatility and high uncertainty of the processes cause an increased demand for DevOps Engineers in today's market.

DevOps

Consideration is given to deploying user software on service structures of various configurations. Methods of containerization, management of infrastructure as code; CI/CD; writing uniform instructions for execution on all nodes of the cluster are applied.

Information Protection Methods

Students consider the questions of complex safety of data and projects in IT sphere (types and methods of intrusion detection; causes of information leakage; possibilities of interception of information; methods of counteraction to malicious activity in corporate networks). Also, legal peculiarities of providing complex security in IT are studied.

The module also includes a Project Design Session (PDS) — a team-based intensive for rapid and comprehensive immersion of students in the field of IT project and product management.

The PDS covers the following topics:

• features of the product lifecycle;
• methodologies of project management in IT and specifics of management positions;
• Identify structure query language statements used in the creation and manipulation of database
• fixing the differences between digitalization and digital transformation.

During the module students are asked to launch and administer their own product, as well as develop activities aimed at promoting the product in the market. For this purpose, we organize:

• expert sessions with industry representatives;
• project tracking.
