Omid Joharchi

Omid Joharchi works as an associate professor and assistant professor at the Department of Plant Protection of the Islamic Azad University (Iran) where he also received his PhD in Agricultural Entomology in 2011.

At the IAU, he teaches Taxonomy of Mites and Insects course for the undergraduates and Taxonomy of Mites for the graduates. Besides, Dr. Joharchi is a technician in charge and vice-chairman at the Banyan Mazrae plant protection clinic (Iran) and a member of the Executive Committee of the Acarological Society of Iran (Iran). He is a co-author of a book named Pests of Fruit Trees & Recommended Pesticides. Apart from that, he co-authored 36 research publications.
