Evgeny Vdovin
Evgeniy Vdovin, Dr. Sci. in Physics and Mathematics, is the Head of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences of the University of Tyumen.
His area of scientific interests lies in group theory. Evgeniy has teaching, research and administrative experience in the Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, University of Padova (Italy), and Novosibirsk State University. Dr. Vdovin was awarded with the medal of the Russian Academy of Sciences for young researchers (2006, Mathematics — “Arithmetical Properties of Operator and Finite Groups Close to the Prime”). Evgeniy is a winner of the Pierre Deligne Contest for young mathematicians in 2008. Holds an honorable academic rank of the Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
