Asya Filatova

Asya Filatova gained her PhD in Philosophy from Rostov State University(2007). She also studied fundamental sociology at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka).

Asya was an intern at the Center for Science and Technology Studies (STS Center) of the European University in St. Petersburg in 2021. She is currently an Associate Researcher of the Social Epistemology Sector of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and an Associate Professor at the School of Education, University of Tyumen.

Her research interests are focused on social epistemology, science and technology studies, and theoretical and practical aspects of educational development such as curricular ideologies in particular.
