Alexandra Gavrilova
Alexandra Gavrilova obtained her specialist degree in arts from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts and is working in media on creation of installations and audiovisual projects using algorithmic and generative methods since she joined Stain studio in 2009.
She held workshops on visual programming and generative graphics in a series of events such as Circle of Life Moscow International Festival 2014, 2015; Sinthposium International Festival 2018; educational program of the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre (St. Petersburg, 2016); TUMO center for creative technologies (Yerevan, 2019).
Alexandra also led seminars at Digital Art (Far Eastern federal University, Vladivostok, 2019-2022) and Art and Science (ITMO University. St. Petersburg, 2021-2022) masters programs. As a curator, in 2022 Alexandra took part in the lab Synesthesia (Peredelkino) and Signal Music Residence also acting as a facilitator on sound visualization in the lab “Shum” of the Polytechnic Museum (St. Petersburg).
