At SAS, Ahmed is responsible for managing the Academic Writing Center, the Excellence Track, reviewing educational policies, and designing SAS special courses alongside the SAS Associate Director for Education. He is also responsible for coordinating the organization of flagship events at SAS such as the You.University.Future Intensive and the SAS Summer School.

In 2017, Ahmed moved to Russia after attending 3 years at the English Literature Department in the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University. In 2018, Ahmed was the recipient of the Excellence award, which entitled him to a tuition-free for a Bachelor’s degree at the School of Advanced Studies (SAS). In 2019, he became a staff member at SAS, responsible for developing a peer-learning strategy at the School through heading the Academic Writing Center. Among his responsibilities, he was the instructional designer of the Excellence Track, one of the core organizers of various major events at SAS such as the You.University.Future Intensive and Summer School. He was the creative director of the SAS Summer School

In 2022, Ahmed graduated with a Bachelor degree in Cultural Studies. His BA thesis focused on revealing the conservative elements in Hannah Arendt’s educational ideas titled, “Good Will Hunting: Putting Arendt’s Educational Ideas Under the Microscope of Freire and Bandura.” Ahmed now is attending his Master degree at the University of Tyumen after winning the Open Doors Olympiada.
