International Intellectual Exchange Scholarship
Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your intellectual and cultural world while completing your undergraduate education at an innovative international undergraduate degree program taught in English?
We are looking for outgoing, intellectually engaged English-speaking students to study at the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) at the University of Tyumen in Siberia, Russia. This scholarship is open to international students with a high level of proficiency in English. Scholarship recipients will receive comprehensive support for the completion of a four-year undergraduate degree, beginning September 2019.
A key aim of this scholarship is to facilitate intellectual exchange between Russian and international students in English. Hence, the ideal candidates will have little to no Russian language ability at the time of application.
SAS provides students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, broaden their intellectual horizons, and receive a valuable intercultural education. Our school features small classes taught in English by international faculty who received their PhDs from top universities.
The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver for four years of undergraduate education, housing in a university dormitory (up to 12 months a year), visa support, and health insurance. To cover living expenses, scholarship students will have access to work opportunities and be eligible for monthly merit stipends that are based upon overall academic rank in the student body.
Applications deadline is on May 10, 2019. Earlier applications are preferred.
The applicants must submit all the following required documents to sas@utmn.ru
- High school transcript (both official transcript and English translation)
- Two letters of recommendation (in English)
