November 1, 2018 was the day that marked the beginning of cooperation between SAS and Institute for Public Strategies, Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. Three SAS professors — David Dusseault, Tomasz Blusiewicz, and Zachary Reyna — gave a 3-hour presentation “Attending to the Changing Logic of Policy Making” in SKOLKOVO’s Master in Public Strategy program designed to “train contemporary leaders and teams ready to produce responsible and forward-looking transformational changes in the country”. This cooperation should eventually lead to the creation of joint programs of continuing executive education between SAS and the SKOLKOVO institute.
SAS professors analyzed the logic of policy making in European energy markets from different disciplinary standpoints. Multidisciplinarity — the cornerstone of SAS research agenda – meets SKOLKOVO’s demand for multidimensional view required for strategic management. SAS will also provide theoretical frameworks and general expertise in the humanities and social sciences without which transformational change in the country cannot go beyond optimization management.
