Denis Sivkov is Associate Professor at Department of Theoretical Sociology and Epistemology (School of Public Policy of RANEPA, Moscow). He graduated in Philosophy from Volgograd State University (2002), and received PhD in Philosophy (2006). His research interests include science and technology studies (STS), mobilities studies, and economic anthropology. He specialises in ethnography of outer space and social studies of biomedicine. He is an editor of special issue Social Studies of Biomedicine of the journal Sociology of Power (2016) and editor of Indigenous dwellers: Essays in pre-revolutionary ethnography (In Russian: Inorodcy: Ocherki dorevoljucionnoj etnografii) Мoscow Common Place 2017.
