The 7-rule is applied within the most SAS courses, locally known as "The 7 Rule".
7-rule is a rule thereby in every class the number of grades above 7 should be equal to the number of grades below 7 on a 10-grade scale. On a different interpretation, currently allowed at SAS, 7-rule means that the average of all grades in a class should be 7 or very close to 7. The rule has caused heated debates among faculty and students.
Debate will take place on Monday, the 21st of December, 7.15 PM (Tyumen, GMT+5).
Master's students of Experimental Higher Education will join the crowd and discuss the pros and cons of the rule in formal debate. The event is only open to SAS students and professors.
